NOVEMBER 3, 1995 BILOXI, MISSISSIPPI The Shock and Vibration Symposium,
first held in 1947, is the oldest continuously-held meeting dealing
specifically dynamic behavior of air, sea, space, and ground vehicles
and structures. The Symposium was established as a mechanism for the
exchange of information among Government activities, private industry,
and academia on current work and new developments. Presentations on
work in progress are encouraged. Separate sessions are held for
presentation of classified or limited distribution material. Then Naval
Surface Warfare Center has contracted the Shock and Vibration
Information Analysis Center (SAVIAC) to operate this symposium. Program
Committee members include representatives from DNA, FMC Corp, NAVSEA,
NCCOSC/NRaD, NSWC/UERD, NSWC/CSS, Redstone Technical Test Center,
Sandia National Labs, US Army CECOM, USAEWES, White Sands Missile
Range, and Wright Labs. Abstracts are due May 12, 1995; papers are due
