Install X-Ray Training System, Bldg 1900. Work includes the installation of government furnished X-ray training equipment to be installed by the contractor. In addition to this equipment, the contractor is responsible for furnishing and installing items such as lead shielding, lead lined gypsum, and other items. Performance period is 90 calendar days. Estimated cost of project is between $25,000 and $100,000. Request for solicitation must be in writing or FAX (817/676-5176). Telephone requests will not be honored. Estimated mailing date of solicitation: 27 Apr 95. Receipt of proposals is scheduled for 30 May 95. Solicitation is a sole source acquisition for General Electric. Government furnished equipment was manufactured by General Electric and MUST be certified by General Electric for proper operation. The equipment manufacturer's protocol is proprietary and therefore is unavailable to other firms for use as specified/required. Evidence of capacity to obtain required bonds and specific information which demonstrates the capability to install and obtain the required General Electric certification must be furnished with your request for solicitation. Complete information concerning management experience in similar work and financial status should also be submitted with references.
