Postal Service, 6 Griffin Road North, Windsor, CT, 06006-0300, will issue Solicitation No. 082530-95-A-0051 for an indefinite quantity construction contract for roof replacement projects and related work for the Middlesex-Central District Office (portion of Middlesex County, Essex and Worcester Counties). Sealed offers are due Thursday, May 4, 1995 no later than 4:00 p.m. There will be no public opening of the proposals and the results of the advertisement will not be published until award of the project. The terms of the contract will be for two years. Work will be defined on work orders issued, as required, for various amounts and types. Initial contract value is $200,000.00. Total contract value will not exceed $1,000,000.00 for two years. Contractor will be required to include a list of the last ten (10) projects completed by their firm with their proposal. Work includes but is not limited to services for roof repairs and other related work for all types of roofs. The work may be performed at various owned and leased postal facilities within the geographic area noted. A proposal guarantee is not required. Performance and payment bonds on Postal Service forms will be required from the successful offeror.
