BERLANGA tel: 210/652-2491 One-step turnkey for design and construction of commissary and navy exchange retail mall at U.S. Naval Construction Battalion Center, Port Hueneme, California (Project Number SW92MP01/P-502 Commissary/Retail Mall Complex). This project shall be designed and constructed in soft metric units. Inspection will take place in soft metric. Submittals shall be provided in soft metric units. The GSA region 3 Metric Design Guide is available free to bidders upon written request to the Contracting Officer. Contractor shall be responsible for design and construction of a total commissary and navy exchange retail mall facility to include all equipment, both building and operational, all structures, utilities, roads, walks and associated on-site improvement, including landscaping. Total area of new facility is 5,575 square meters for commissary (plus or minus 10%) and 6,830 square meters for navy exchange retail mall (plus or minus 10%). Include period of performance in proposal. Magnitude of cost is more than $10 million for this project. This procurement is unrestricted. Estimated closing date is on or about 19 Jun 95.
