R -- SYSTEM ENGINEERING AND TECHNICAL SUPPORT FOR THE FAA'S AIR TRAFFIC SYSTEMS DEVELOPMENT OFFICE (AUA) POC Contracting Officer, Latetia Henderson, 202/233-3027 The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) intends to extend the performance period of Contract Number, DTFA01-90-C-00013 on a sole source basis with TRW. The extension is planned for three (3) months with an option to extend for an additional three (3) months if the transition to the follow-on Air Traffic Systems Development Technical Assistance Contract (AUATAC) is not completed with in the initial (3) month period. The FAA plans to begin the extension approximately July 1, 1995. The contract extension is required to provide for a sufficient transition period between the Advanced Automation Program's (AAP) Systems Engineering and Technical Support (SETA) contract and the follow-on Technical Assistance Contract (TAC). Award of the AUATAC is planned on or before July 1, 1995. (0097)
