The Ferald Envioronmental Restoration Management Company (FERMCO), RFP No. F95P157074 is scheduled to be released on or about May 1995 for the Environmental Management Project in Fernald, Hamilton County, Ohio. LEASE TO PURCHASE OF PERSONAL ALPHA DOSIMETERS. Fernald Environmental Management Corporation (FERMCO), Contractor for the DOE's Fernald Environmental Management Project (FEMP), is seeking interested QUALIFIED SOURCE(S) to provide dosimetry services to be used to comply with the requirements of 10 CFR 835 regarding individual's expsoure to randon and/or thoron decay daughters. The subcontractor shall furnish all materials, equipment, and labor, necessary for processing personal alpha dosimetry capable of measuring potential internal exposures due to alpha emissions of short-lived daughter products of radon-222 and radon-220, and long-lived products of uranium and thorium. The subcontractor shall supply a complete integrating dosimeter, to be leased with maintenance of dosimetry equipment necessary to calibrate, maintain and provide dosimetry for the monitoring of 10 individuals over 12 monthly intervals (total monitoring period of one year). Processing and results of the dosimetry shall be submitted to FERMCO by the subcontractor. NEGATIVE REPLIES ARE NOT SOLICITED.
