303-231-5750, Ext. 110. INNVOATIVE CONCEPTS PROGRAM The US DOE,
Innovative Cocepts Program (InnCon), is soliciting grant applications
from independent and small business inventors for advanced concepts
having the potential to reduce the energy and/or enviromental costs of
waste generation/treatment process. The concepts must be specific,
differ substantially from existing practices or application, and not
degrade the quality of the product or service being supplied. Proposed
advanced concepts should have the potential to eliminate, reduce, or
utilize gas, liquid, or solid waste streams. The InnCon is to identify
promising new conepts fo saving energy or improving its utilization
while improving industrial efficiency and maintaining the quality of
the enviornment. Each proposal submitted will be reviewed and evaluated
against established qualification and evaluation criteria. US DOE
InnCon allocation will not exceed $500,000 with an intent to award up
to 25 grants of approximately $20,000 each. Cost sharing is not
mandatory Grant awards will require innovators to conduct a preliminary
technical and market evaluation and to present their concepts to
potential sponsors. Interested parties should contact the individual
