McBride, Contracting Officer/334-953-3514 CNT F01600-95-R0025 The 42d Air Base Wing Command Post at Maxwell Air Force Base requests information to search the industry's interest for an automated notification system. Included in this requirement is the ability to install the system and train personnel on its use. This requirement must be a computer-based system that is linked to a telephone system, pagers, and fax machines, and designed to automatically relay important information to specific personnel. The exhaustively integrated capability to interface with both United States civilian and military telephone systems and worldwide telecommunication systems is required; capability to address every current and facsimile system available, and certified for FCC use. Activated remotely with password protected access and can provide real-time reports via fax or personal computer. Must be court tested, a feature of ''Line of Duty'' acknowledgment by notified personnel will save the Department of Defense from liability issues in the event of an accident resulting in an emergency response. The system must: control sirens and tone alert radio systems from remote locations; perform system callouts based on user-defined scenarios; allow an unlimited number of persons, groups, and/or positions to be entered in the roster; accomodate up to 50 contact numbers for each roster member (work, home, pager, mobile, fax, cellular, and radios); transmit FAX forms; provides instant documentation by printing a variety of real-time reports to multiple locations (printers, faxes, or computer terminals). No telephone requests for information will be honored. The Standard Industrial Classification Code No. 7372 applies to this requirement. This agency wants to determine if there are any interested and capable vendors to fulfill this requirement. Interested firms are invited to submit literature, detailed information describing capability, experience, past performance, and qualifications. Acknowledgment of receipt of requested information will not be made; however, sources deemed qualified will be considered for the future solicitation.
