DesJarlais, 804/441-6580 The National Environmental Satellite Data and Information Service (NESDIS) has a requirement to procure hardware to replace and upgrade existing Geostationary Operational Environmental Satellite (GOES) Data Collection System (DCS) Ground Systems Equipment that has been in operation for over 20 years. The DCS Interrogate and Control Equipment (DICE) project involves the replacement of operational DCS frequency control electronics units. The DICE includes DCS Interrogate and Pilot Carrier Control requirements involving transmit and receive DCS RF electronics and interfacing with other GOES and GOES DCS ground support equipments. The DICE is to be integrated into the NESDIS Command and Data Acquisition Station at Wallops Station, VA with no impact to existing operations. This procurement is a 100% small business set-aside.
