in PSA-1308 on March 22, 1995 is corrected to read as follows:
Contractor to furnish two (2) each aerial lift platforms with booms and
two (2) each auger drill units for delivery to 1313 Medium Port
Command, Tacoma, Washington, or Fort Richardson, Alaska. Aerial
platforms and booms are to be installed on heavy-duty one (1) ton
trucks by Government personnel at Fort Richardson. One lift is to be a
non-insulated Versalift model TEL25NE aerial manlift, or equal, having
a working height of 30 feet, with 25 feet to bottom of bucket. The
other lift is to be an insulated Versalift model VN-32 aerial manlift,
or equal, having a working height of 37 feet 10 inches, with 32 feet
10 inches to bottom of bucket. Working heights and heights to bottom of
buckets for both aerial lifts are based on a 36 inch carrier vehicle
frame height. Auger units are to be furnished with a liquid cooled
diesel engine with a minimum of 95 horsepower at 2400 RPM. Based on a
50 inch frame height, the augers shall have the ability to dig holes 24
inches in diameter and 13 feet 10 inches deep in a continuous
operation, and the ability to dig 56 inch diameter holes in an
intermittent operation. Augers shall be equipped with a torque
converter type transmission, a high carbon, heat treated steel kelley
bar, a 3 gear type pump hydraulic system, stabilizer jacks, rotary
clearance, hydraulic service winch, and a polesetter option. Each auger
is to be rear mounted by Government personnel on a Ford cab and chassis
which is 108 inches cab to axle, 4x4, 50 inch frame height, 32,000
pound GVWR, and single axle. The requirement listed here is
unrestricted and all responsible business sources may submit a bid
which will be considered by the agency. Bids will be evaluated for
