The subject project consists of furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to perform demolition and construction to replace existing heating, ventilation and cooling systems (to include construction of a building addition to support new system), upgrade interior finishes and retrofit an asphalt shingle roof over an existing 4 Ply Built-up roof at Chapel II, Building 1470, Tyndall AFB, FL. The SIC Code for the project is 1542. The magnitude of the project is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. The performance period will be 210 calendar days. This acquisition is being considered for 100% set-aside for Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) concerns. Interested SDB concerns should notify this office of their intent to bid on this project as a prime contractor as soon as possible, but not later than 15 days from the date of this notice. The notification must include (a) a positive statement of eligibility as a SDB concern; (b) evidence of capacity to obtain the required bonds; and (c) past performance data on projects that demonstrates the capability to perform projects of this complexity and magnitude. Information on your financial status, i.e., letter from bank should also be submitted. If adequate interest is not received from at least two SDB concerns, the solicitation will be issued without further notice, on an unrestricted basis. Therefore, responses are requested from all interested business concerns as well as SDB concerns.
