Government intends to negotiate a contract with Sudbury systems Inc.,
under the Authority of FAR 6.302, for maintenance service of the Rapid
Telephone Access System (RTAS). the RTAS is a digital dictating and
medical reporting system used within the department of Radiology, at
Brooke Army Medical Center (BAMC), located at Fort Sam Houston, Texas.
The system is used to transcribe radiological examinations nd patient
consultations. The system software developer is Sudbury System Inc.,
490 Boston Post Road,Sudbury, Massachusetts, and the telephone number
is 800-876-8888. The National service Manager Mr. David Bishop is the
point of contact. Sudbury Systems, Inc. has the proprietary rights to
the software for the RTAS Digital Dictation and Medical Reporting
system and is not releasable to any other contractors. The maintenance
service will require a fixed monthly maintenance rate, repairs as
required,plus the software updates. This is only a notice of intent,
not a notice for firms to request a solicitation package. See Number
