Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Long Beach Detachment, intends to solicit and negotiate with Loral Space and Range Systems, Sunnyvale, CA 94089, on a sole source basis, to acquire five (5) Loral ASPEC 2T formatters (P/N #02233), one simulator for the Loral ASPEC 2T formatter (P/N #022333SM), engineering support, and a one day training class. The required items are required to support Naval Satellite Operations Center's (NAVSOC), Point Mugu, CA., Telemetry, Tracking & Commanding Mission. The ASPEC 2T interfaces satellite command and control systems to any of the Air Force's automated Remote Tracking Stations. The required equipment must match the Loral simulator currently being used by Naval Satellite Operations Center, Point Mugu, CA.
