procure a turn-key, integrated, mulitmedia projection system (MPS).
This system will be utilized for conference style briefings of
primarily computer generated graphics charts, transparenies, and NTSC
(VHS) video tapes, The system components muct be 100 percent compatible
with each other and the computer will be hooked up to a local area
network. All components of the systems must be easily switchable for
minimum interruption of display during conference. The primary
projection source will be computer generated data and the projection
system must have a primary optimization for data and graphics. The
system must include high quality audio, and integrate a computer and a
Picturetel brand video teleconference system. Single point technical
assistance is mandatory for all components of the selected system. The
contrator must site, install, and fully test the final assembled
system, for proper operation in all presentation modes. Warranty must
include an equipment replacement program for non-working components
within 24 hour period. The systems must come from a singular source to
provide for compatibility between components, economic installation,
warranty/loan program for all compoments as a functional system, and
maintenance. Contractor must provide for training of applicable
personnel in proper use of this ''turn-key'' system. These
specifications define the requirements for the contractor to provide
and install one briefing system into Building 3950 Room 103. Contractor
to support verification testing, provide all required documentation,
operation and maintenance manuals, and conduct successful training of
applicable personnel. The total performamce period for this contract is
14 calendar days. The contractor shall work within the following
parameters: Monday through Friday, 0700-1600. Federal holidays
excluded. A work plan shall be submitted outlining the installation and
integration. No work schedule is required for this time-frame. the
installation for the multimedia conference equipment shall begin no
later than 14 days after contract award. Delivery date requirement is
anticipated to be June 1995 with a 30 day bid period. Requests to be
