Tank Target Mechanism (TTM) will raise and lower gunnery targets. The TTM will interface with existing targets and remote target systems. The TTM shall consist of an electrically driven unit that rotates a drive shaft. The TTM shall be manufactured in accordance with the governing performance specifications. Multiyear, two-step request for proposal, technical evaluation to include hardware samples and technical manuals. No location for technical evaluation yet. Contractors will be notified in writing. Evaluation criteria will be included in performance Specification and will be pass/fail. Contractors will be permitted to attend testing with a limit of two contractor representatives. First year quantity is 925 EA with a 100 percent option, approximate multiyear quantities for outyears are as follows: 1996-45 EA, 1997-99 EA, 1998-77 EA, 1999-70 EA. Years 1996 through 1999 will include 300 percent option. In addition, final proposals will include contractor logistic support and Depot repair costs. First article test is required.
