Work shall include the following: Complete asbestos abatement, construction of barrier walls in utilidors, excavation of utilidors, removal, stockpiling, screening, sampling, and testing of hydrocarbon contaminated soils in project site shall e included. Asphalt, gravel, and turf areas shall be repaired after excavation. Replacement of all condensate piping within the project limits to include valves, expansion joints, pipe alignment guides, and steam traps on all drip legs. Expansion joints on all of the steam lines shall be replaced to include new guides. Some anchors shall be installed and others repaired. SIC Code is 1623. The magnitude is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. This action is being considered for 100% set-aside for Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) concerns. Interested SDB concerns should notify this office, in writing, of their intent to bid as a prime contractor as early as possible but not later than 10 Apr 95. This project will issue on or about 27 Apr 95. Performance period shall be 120 calendar days. All request for bid packages must be submitted in writing to this office accompanied by a check or money order payable to US Treasury in the amount of $40.00.
