Contractor to furnish all labor, supplies, equipment and materials necessary to Construct a Jet Fuel Distribution Facility at the Armed Forces Reserve Center, Los Alamitos, California (Orange County). The work includes but is not limited to, a Fuel receiving area with fuel truck connections, receiving pumps and filter-separators, Fuel storage area, including dikes, tanks and piping, and a Fuel transfer system, including transfer pumps, transfer piping and connections to existing truck fill stands; site prep and excavation, ext. water. dist. sys, storm-drainage sys, irrigation sys, landscaping, concrete, fuel tanks and components, electrical, cathodic protection system, etc. The estimated construction cost is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Contract performance period is 365 calendar days. This solicitation is scheduled to be issued on or about 10 May 1995. Interested Small Disadavantaged Businesses (SDB) should as early as possible, but not later than 15 calendar days after publication of this notice, indicate interest in bidding on the project, and must submit the following documents within the time specified above to be considered, specialized experience and technical capability in this type of work to include references with contract numbers, points of contact and telephone numbers, capability to perform the project; a positive statement of eligibility as a small socially and economically disadavantaged business concern, and the dollar amount of current construction bonding capability must be furnished with your response. The Contracting Officer will utilize the information received to make a decision to issue this solicitation as set-aside for Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) or as ``Unrestricted'' without further notice. Therefore, replies to this notice are requested from all interested business concerns as well as from SDB concerns. Replies must indicate the firm's size status such as large business, small business, small disadvantaged business, 8(a), and indicate if the firm is woman owned.
