Antarctic Support Associates (ASA) under contract with the National Science Foundation is seeking sources interested in providing janitorial, laundry, and hairdressing services in support of the United States Antarctic Program (USAP) during the austral summer and winter at McMurdo Station, Antarctica. The janitorial services shall be performed in approximately 48 buildings at McMurdo Station, Antarctica and shall include the following custodial duties: (1) Sweeping, mopping and scrubbing floors; (2) Cleaning lavatories; (3) Cleaning walls, ceilings, woodwork, partitions, and light fixtures; (4) Dusting; (5) Cleaning laboratories with certain restrictions; (6) Cleaning lounges, conference rooms, and break rooms; (7) Stocking linens; (8) Removing and sorting trash. The laundry and hairdressing services shall be performed in one building at McMurdo Station, Antarctica. This requirement shall be set aside for small businesses, SIC Code 7349.
