SOL IFB 685-19-95 DUE 052695 POC Contact Point, Richard Verret, (817)752-6581x6373, Contracting Officer, JOE ROBERTS, (817)752-6581x6374, Additional Contact, Kay Robertson, (817)752-6581x6367 Provide all labor, material, equipment & supervision to replace the ''D'' tubes in two (2) 21,000 lb/hr Nebraska ''D'' type boilers. Work includes removal of sidewall of each boiler to gain access to and facilitate the removal & installation of the ''D'' tubes; turbine cleaning of all boiler tubes and inspection there of for blistering or other damage, installation of new insulation and refactory as required, and reinstallation of boiler sidewalls. Contractor shall provide all testing and certification as required by the National Board of Boiler & Pressure Vessel Inspectors and the Great State of Texas. Only one boiler unit shall be allowed to be out of service. One unit shall be completed and tested prior to commencement of work on second unit. All work shall be inspected by a Hartford Steam Boiler Inspector at the completion of each unit. Each unit inspection will include a hydrostatic test at 1.5 times normal operating pressure. Job must be completed within 70 days after award. SIC 7699. Small Business Size Standard is $3.5 million. Award subject to availability of funds. Requests for solicitation must be in writing. (0093)
