Silicon Mountain Design Model SCM-1000 or equal; computer with appropriate memory cards, operating system and software for controlling the SCM 1000, all cables, plugs and power supplies necessary for operation of the camera; the high speed camera shall have sufficient visible light sensitivity to observe transient events, be electronically shuttered to prevent blurring of moving objects, contain memory for sufficient frames to fully characterize the event, and operate up to at least 1000 frames per second; the system shall be delivered complete with all components assembled and tested and ready for operation; the image resolution shall be at least 512 by 512 pixels resolution (minimum), with the dynamic range of image signal to be at least 255:1 (8 bit - minimum), with a programmable variable duration electronic shutter operating from 1/100 (0.01) to 1/10,000 (0.0001) second; utilize an interline transfer architecture sensor chip with an imaging rate at full resolution of 1000 frames per second (minimum) and with potential for growth to at least 2000 frames per second at full resolution; include on-board memory for 64 consecutive images or more at 1000 frames per second; with a start record controlled by external pulse; Synchronization, switchable between internal clock for free-running mode and external clock driven mode, to include standard ''c mount'' for lens; Compact size: the camera head shall be no more than 8 inches by 8 inches by 14 inches with provisions for mounting on a standard heavy duty tripod; Additional components shall be readily disassembled into sub-components weighing no more than 35 pounds each; all components of the system shall be powered by a standard 115 vac, 60 Hz supply -- 1 Each -- FOB Destination -- The delivery period shall be 60 days after award.
