The quantity required is 16 each engine hardware with warranties refurbishment of the GFE Shipping Containers, Engineering Support, Field Service Representatives, and Data applicable to the OH-58D Airframe.--The approved source for this procurement is Allison Engine Company, Indianapolis, IN-- All responsible sources may submit a quote which will be considered by agency--Authority and justification is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1--This proposed contract action is for supplies which cannot be procured through full and open competition because the authority cited states only one responsible source of only a limited number of responsible sources and not other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements.
