Benson, Contract Specialist at (404)842-6790 The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention contemplates awarding a 5-year contract to establish and standardize the reporting of cancer among States. Tasks shall include: (1) conduct case findings and data quality control audits of central cancer registries; (2) provide technical assistance to central registry personnel regarding the management and use of cancer registry data; (3) provide education and instruction to State central cancer registries to improve deficiencies found as a result of audits; (4) support central registry staff in developing state-wide quality assurance procedures; (5) develop and implement workshops tailored to state specific issues; (6) establish and maintain an electronic bulletin board; and (7) complete a feasibility study. The scheduled issue date is approximately April 17, 1995. RFP due date is approximately 40 days after release date of solicitation.
