(POSIT-REVISED) SOL N01DA-5-6051 DUE 052295 POC Patricia W. Mummaugh,
Contract Specialist, (301) 443-1301, Nikki A. Zangwill, Contracting
Officer, (301) 443-1301 The National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) is
soliciting proposals from qualified organizations having the
capability to produce a user-friendly version of the adolescent
self-report assessment tool, the Problem Oriented Screening Instrument
for Teenagers (POSIT). All revisions are to be based on secondary
analyses of an available data set. Two administration forms of the
POSIT-Revised are to be produced: a paper-and pencil, self-scoring form
and a computer-administered form that can be scored, printed, and
saved. An accompanying manual is to be developed for each
administration form of the POSIT-Revised. The offeror should have
experience and demonstrated competence in developing paper-and-pencil
questionnaires and in writing PC-compatible software programs for
self-administering a questionnaire, and for scoring, storing, and
printing the results. This is a 100 percent Small Business Set-Aside.
It is estimated that a one-yeay, cost-reimbursement contract will
result from this requirement. The estimated issuance date for RFP No.
N01DA-5-6051 is April 17, 1995, and responses are due to be received in
the Contracting Office forty-two (42) calendar days thereafter.
Requests for copies of solicitations will be honored if received within
20 calendar days after issuance of the solicitation. Requests received
after this period will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis
until the supply is exhausted; however, there is no assurance that
copies requested after the 30th day will reach the requestor before the
due date for receipt of responses. This requirement represents a new
effort. All reasonable sources may submit a proposal, which will be
considered by the Agency. Only written or facsimile requests for this
RFP will be accepted. Please forward all requests to the attention of
