R -- ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT SERVICES Sol RFP NFC 95-R-008. Contact Point, Florence G Collins, 504/255-5910, Contracting Officer. USDA, OFM, National Finance Center (NFC) located in New Orleans, LA intends to issue a solicitaton to obtain contractor support service for twenty-four (24) hour continuous on-site maintenance for the Pitney Bowes Model 8316 and the R608 - 9 Series inserting machines for approximately nine days from Pitney Bowes. The inserting machines have been customized by the Pitney Bowes Company for the NFC. The NFC currently has two-8300 and four-R-608 machinery. In addition to maintaining the machinery, the contractor will be required to provide operators (performing shift work) for operating the machinery. The services are required semi-annually during the month of May and November. The period of performance is for the base year with the option to renew services for an additional four (4) years. Interested parties may provide information on their capabilities to maintain and operate the machinery. In order to be considered, respondents must submit clear and convincing documentation of their capability within fifteen (15) calendar days after publishing of this notice.
