R -- SITE INTEGRATION, COMMUNICATION SYSTEMS SUPPORT AND SUPPORT FOR OTHER 50 SPACE WING ACTIVITIES AT FALCON AFB Contact Robert J Wind, Contracting Officer, 719/550-6902. The 50th Space Wing (AFSPC) intends to issue a draft Request for Proposal (RFP) for reacquisition of the Site Integration and Support Contract (SIASC) at Falcon Air Force Base (FAFB). The proposed effort is designed to provide site integration, communication systems support, and support for other 50 Space Wing organizations at FAFB. Interested bidders should have experience in the followin space system support areas: (1) Interface definition/control, interface control document development and maintenance, special engineering studies, engineering support in various disciplines such as electrical, HVAC and facilities; (2) Local Area Network (LAN) support including hardware and software maintenance, Wide Area Network (WAN) connectivity, operations, system administration and system engineering analysis and studies; and (3) System security engineering support including but not limited to Designated Approval Authority (DAA) accreditation support, and system safety support. It is contemplated that this effort will be for one basic year with four one-year priced options. The period of performance will begin on 1 Oct 96. The contract type is expected to be cost-plus-award-fee and the acquisition will be unrestricted (full and open competition). The draft RFP is scheduled for release around 29 May 95.
