Laviguer, 206 220-7424 The work consists of preparation of detailed
fire protection and life safety analysis and review of Government
furnished plans and specifications of various projects for conformance
to current national building, fire and life safety codes andcriteria.
Size of projects for review may range from under $1 million to over
$10 million. Reviews will be defined and negotiated on an individual
task basis using rates established in the basic contract. Proposed
procurement will result in IndefiniteDelivery Contract to be in effect
for one year with a one year option to extend services. Contract has
a maximum potential of $50,000 annually. Estimated contract start date
is August 1995. Firms desiring consideration must submit one copy of
a SF 254and SF 255 including organizational chart of key personnel to
be assigned to this project. One set of submittals must be received in
this office at close of business(4pm), 30 calendar days after date of
publication of this notice. No furthertechnical project specific
information will be furnished prior to selection of short listed firms.
Phone calls are discouraged. The evaluation criteria in descending
order of importance are 1. Professional qualifications relative to the
above work ofthe firms staff to be assigned to the project. Indicate
total number of years of experience with code reviews. 2. Specialized
experience of firm in related work. Firms must demonstrate
comprehensive experience in code interpretation and inestablishing
design requirements for projects throughout the United States including
waterfront projects. Submit representative list and short description
of reviewed projects. 3. Past record of performance and
capacity/capability of firm toaccomplish work in the required time.
Standard timeframe is 7 calendar days. 4. Organization and management.

Department of Transportation (DOT) Office of Small and Disadvantaged
Business Utilization (OSDBU), has programs to assist minority,

working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans
are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime
interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum
