58 -- RF AMPLIFIERS AND LIMITERS SOL N00164-95-R-0123 DUE 042895 POC Contact - Ms. Lorene Trusty, Code 1164EN, 812-854-3710/Fax 812-854-3465; Mr. Doug McDaniel, Contracting Officer The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division (NSWC Crane), is seeking prospective source(s) of supply for RF Amplifiers and RF Limiters in accordance with NSWC Crane performance specifications. MIL-S-901, MIL-STD-167-1, and MIL-STD-810 apply. The amplifier operating voltage shall be +15 VDC; gain variation +/- 4 dBm, minimum output 1 dB compression point +20dBm, and input/output (I/O) impedance shall be 50 ohms nominal with maximum VSWR of 2.0:1. Amplifier 1 minimum frequency range .55-1.10GHz, nominal gain at 25 degrees C 22 +/- 1, minimum third order intercept +75 dBm, minimum second order intercept +40 dBm. Amplifier 2 minimum frequency range 1.01-2.6GHz, nominal gain at 25 degrees C 20 +/- 1, minimum third order intercept +30 dBm, minimum second order intercept +120 dBm. The limiters shall incorporate an internal broadband DC return, have 50 ohms I/O impedance with maximum VSWR of 2.0:1, maximum spike leakage of 0.2 erg, maximum recovery time of 200 ns. Limiter 1 shall have a minimum frequency range of .55-1.10GHz, minimum power handling capability with 1 microsecond pulse width and 0.001 duty cycle of 200w, maximum limiting threshold of -30dBm, maximum insertion loss 0.6 dBm, minimum second Harmonic Output Suppression (HOS) of 30dBc, minimum third HOS of 100 dBc. Limiter 2 shall have a minimum frequency range of 1.01-2.6GHz, minimum peak power handling capability with 1 microsecond pulse width and 0.001 duty cycle of 200w, maximum limiting threshold of - 46dBm, maximum insertion loss 0.8 dBm, minimum second Harmonic Output Suppression (HOS) of 100dBc, minimum third HOS of 30 dBc. All items must have SMA connectors per MIL-C-39012. All items must meet environmental requirements such as: Operating Temperatures, Centigrade (-28 to +85); Storage Temperatures, Centigrade (-62 to +85); Vibration, 4 Hz to 33 Hz; Shock; Humidity; Fungus; and Salt Fog.
