This is a presolicitation notice only. Do not request plans now. A solicitation notice will be published before invitations are issued. The work includes refurbishing and retrofit of four existing water chillers to eliminate the ozone depleting CFC's and allow the chillers to operate on HCFC-123. In addition, two other chillers of the 150 to 200 ton size range will be removed and replaced with new units. Equipment room exhaust fans, refrigerant monitors and self contained breathing apparatus will be installed in four mechanical rooms to comply with ASHRAE standards. Sundry piping modifications, pump replacements and electrical work. Following tentative dates apply: Issue invitations 4/95, open bids 5/95, complete contract 11/95.
