This is notice that the Government intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with the City of Nogales, Arizona, for services to provide maintenance and armed security of storm drain tunnel grates at Morely Ave and Grand Ave Tunnels, Nogales, AZ. The City is required to provide all labor, equipment and material to accomplish all maintenance and armed security for maintenance workers during maintenance and inspection operations. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. However, all proposals received within forty five days after date of publication this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Informatin received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. (086)
