INTEGRATION AND INSTALLATION OF A FIRE EMERGENCY COMMUNICATIONS SYSTEM

This synopsis constitutes NOTICE OF THE GOVERNMENT'S INTENT TO SOLICIT
ON A SOLE SOURCE BASIS, Motorola, Inc. (the manufacturer) to provide a
Fire Emergency Communications Console. The Government's requirements
include, but are not limited to the following: incorporate government
provided equipment as follows; 2 ea. AT&T Merlin multiline phones, 6
ea. single line phones, 40 circuit two-way music capable intercom
system, 13 ea. remote door openers, station light switches with
override capability, public address system, 2 ea. switches to activate
2 single line phones over public address system. Must provide and
incorporate 1 ea. radio microphone and 4 ea. uninterrupted power
supplies for Monaco computer systems. Must provide and incorporate door
opener and light switches for a remote located fire station. Storage
space for 4 ea. Monaco Computers, hard drives, keyboards, printers,
uninterrupted power supplies, and 2 ea. Motorola receiver/transmitters.
Must have 5 ea. drawers, 1 lockable. It is the Government's belief that
Motorola is the only manufacturer capable of meeting the minimum needs
of the government. Interested parties may identify their interest and
capabilities to respond to this requirement by submitting technical
data within 15 calendar days from the publication date of this
synopsis. Information received as a result of this notice of intent
will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to
conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government
not to open the requirement for competition based upon responses to
this notice is solely at the discretion of the Government. All
responses must be in writing. FAX number (605) 385-1759, telephone

from interested parties, the Government will procure the item from
