R -- TRANSLATION SERVICES SOL 6780 POC Eileen P. Coyne, Contract Specialist, 202-324-2283 The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has a requirement to obtain the services of translators with the ability in a wide range of languages, including but not limited to: Arabic, Chinese (all dialects), Farsi, Japanese, Korean, Russian, Sicilian, Thai, and Vietnamese. Services shall be performed at FBI locations throughout the United States. This requirement is contingent upon the availability of funds of the FBI, the contract shall run through 9/30/95 with four additional one year option periods. Interested parties shall: be U.S. Citizens, have successfully passed the FBI Foreign Language test battery and have an FBI top secret clearance. Call local FBI office to make arrangements to take the test. Translation Agencies may respond without taking the test battery. Respondents should submit a statement setting forth their qualifications, including experience, education, test scores The qualifications statement should include the linguists complete name, address, social security number, phone number, date of birth and citizenship. Upon approval of the qualifications statement, receipt of language test scores and a limited name check, Request for Proposal (RFP) 6780 will be issued. All offerors who respond to the RFP will be subject to a background investigation. (0086)
