The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) has a requirement for an on-site medical consultant at the IRS Eastern Workers' Compensation Center, 400 N. 8th Street, Richmond, VA. The IRS requires a board certified physician with speciality in occupational medicine to be on-site for 8 hours per day, 4 days per week, to provide consultative assistance to IRS case managers. This assistance includes physician to physician consultation related to Office of Workers' Compensation Programs (OWCP) case management and direct consultation with case managers. The period of performance will be an initial period of 7/1/95, or date of award, whichever is later, through 9/30/95, plus a one year option period.
