The work shall consist of replacing the existing grit hoppers and lighting system; elimination of pit and elevators and installation of a new state-of-the-art grit transfer system. It also includes the installation of a new material handling system, a new gas fired make-up air supply unit and a conveyor system with all the related equipment from the dust collection system to the bulk hauler. Additional work includes electrical work from transformer to the new panel; sprinklers for the booths and fire protection for the dust collectors; provide seals and adjust the booth doors to provide for proper operation. Estimated cost is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. Estimated duration of the contract is 300 calendar days for completion. This procurement is classified as unrestricted. (079)
