Jennings (817)287-5454 (Site Code DAKF48) This Solicitation is for a Firm Fixed Price Contract for the purpose of acquiring one (1) each refurbished aircraft fuel hydrant servicer for Robert Gray Army Airfield, Fort Hood, Texas. Deliver to Fort Hood, Texas. The maximum age of the offered servicer can be no earlier than 1988. The maximum acceptable length is 22 feet, maximum acceptable width is 10 feet, and maximum acceptable height is 10 feet in the letdown position. The minimum acceptable hydrant hose is 3 inches by 30 feet. The minimum acceptable fueling hose is 2 1/2 inches by 50 feet. The offered hydrant servicer must meet NFPA codes, especially code 407. The anticipated date of issue of the solicitation is 18 April 1995, with an anticipated date for receipt of offers on 18 May 1995. Requests for copies of the solicitation must be submitted in writing and the request must contain the following: Company name, company address, phone number, fax number, solicitation number, and name of person requesting the solicitation. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered by the Directorate of Contracting.
