Work includes furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, supplies, services and supervision necessary for the removal and disposal of existing asbestos containing insulation materials and replacement of same with new asbestos-free materials. This project is unrestricted but may be considered for 100 percent set-aside for Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) concerns. Interested SDB concerns should, as early as possible but no later than 15 days of this notice, indicate interest in the acquisition by providing to the Contracting Office evidence of capability to perform, including references and points of contact for similar type work (SIC Code) in this dollar magnitude, and a positive statement of eligibility as a socially and economically disadvantaged business concern. If adequate interest is not received from SDB concerns, the solicitation will be issued as unrestricted without further notice.
