The solicitation will include a basic requirement for demolition of existing interior improvements and for the construction of a new aluminum frame, glazed entry vestible; a new loading dock; new partitions for offices; reconfiguring of HVAC system; modification of the existing fire alarm system; the relocation of a card operated security system including automatic doors; and installation of conduit for new voice and data communications for all offices. This work is in support of the BRAC (Base Realignment and Closure) Commission recommendations. The project has an estimated cost between $100,000 and $250,000. Performance and Payment bonds as well as a bid guarantee are required in accordance with the FAR. There is a 180 day period of performance. There is a charge of $18.00 required for each set of plans and specifications which must be paid, by check or money order, to the account of: Defense Accounting Office, Fort Monmouth NJ 07703 and must include as a note the acct number: 21R3210.
