Y -- UPGRADE DRAINAGE FACILITIES, OFFUTT AFB, NEBRASKA SOL DACA45-95-B-0057 DUE 051895 POC Contact Contracting Division at: (402)221-4266. The work will include the following: (Approx. quantities) Work includes upgrading existing storm drains and/or sanitary sewer systems at various site locations throughout Offutt AFB. Several buildings and the Capehart Gast Station will receive metal canopies over their fuel dispensing areas. Other items of work include installation of an new 2,000 gal. double wall steel underground fuel storage tank; building a new vehicle car wash facility; new spill containment structure (2,000 gal. capacity) and upgrading existing spill containment structures; new storage facility consisting of metal building and standing seam metal roof. Elements of work include demolition; grading; flexible membrane liner (FML); excavation and backfilling; concrete sidewalks, curbs and gutters; bituminous pavement; removal and replacement of concrete pavement; piping for storm drains and sanitary sewers; welding and structural steel; masonry (CMU); painting; and general plumbing. The estimated construction cost of this project is between $1,000,000 and $2,500,000. Contractor's Quality Control will be a requirement in this contract. The Contractor will be required to commence work within 10 days after notice to proceed and complete the work 365 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. Provisions will be included for liquidated damages in case of failure to complete the work in the time allowed. Performance and payment bonds will be required. Bid sets will be available on/a April 18, 1995. Half-size plans and specifications will be furnished upon request and receipt of payment of $48.00 per set (non-refundable) with check made payable to ''Omaha District, Corps of Engineers.''
