Young Company, 2801 Aero-Park Drive, Traverse City, Michigan 49684, for the purchase of 75 each of RM Young Model 05103-1R wind sensors, in the base year, and three option years with a ''not-to-exceed'' quantity, per year, of 100 units. The R. M. Young Company is the only known source of the pulse type anemometers that NDBC utilizes on all of its foreign and domestic automated weather buoys and coastal weather stations that have VEEP, WAAP, or GSBP electronic data acquisition systems installed on them. The model 05103-1R wind monitor is the only known wind sensor that meets the published NDBC specifications for a ruggedized, high reliability, propeller-vane aneometers with a pulse (frequency) output.
