619-2527 Defibrillation system, acceptable for limited use in the
aeromedical evacuation environment as approved by and in accordance
with the U.S. Air Force Armstrong Laboratory, Aeromedical Research
(CFTS), Brooks Air Force Base, Texas. Each defibrillator system shall
consist of the following components: an integrated non-invasive
pacemaker, a defibrillator, an ECG monitor, and annotating recorder,
and an external battery charger. The system shall operate from both
line and battery power (AC/DC), shall be portable, impact resistant and
operate in a damp environment. Accessories shall include a padded case
for the system, ECG cable, pacing cable, paddles (pediatric and
adult), 24 sets of monitoring electrodes, 10 sets of pacing electrodes,
3 sets of defibrillation conductive pads, 6 roles of recorder paper,
and applicable power cables. Each system must be constructed to comply
with applicable standards stated in the American National Standards
Institute and Association for the Advancement of Medical
Instrumentation, the Underwriters Laboratories, the National Fire
Protection Association, and the American Heart Association. Estimated
quantity to be acquired for the base year and three option years is
2,900 defibrillator systems. An indefinite quantity contract is
anticipated with individual delivery orders issued by various appointed
ordering officers. F.O.B. destination. All responsible sources may
