Contracting Officer, 904/779-3297 This requirement calls for
establishment of a one-year requirements contract for the
repair/refurbishment of an estimated 1,440 TF34 Turbine Nozzle
Segments. Repairs can be performed only by contractors certified by
General Electric Company to repair them. Offerors wishing to become
qualified for these repair services for future requirements should
contact the Contracting Officer for additional information.
Qualification for this requirement would entail submission of repaired
units to General Electric for engine testing. Testing is scheduled on
an irregular basis not more frequently than once or twice a year. This
requirement cannot be delayed pending qualification of additional
vendors and is restricted to GE Cincinnati and Chromalloy the two
vendors currently qualified to perform these repairs.The Government
estimates that 12% of the units submitted for repair will be
non-repairable. Delivered units include both the repaired nozzles and
the non-repairable units.Delivery is to be made to NADEP Jacksonville,
FL at the rate of 120 units per month commencing thirty days after
