F -- SMALL PROJECT INDEFINITE DELIVERY TYPE CONTRACT (SPIDT) FOR IOWA, KANSAS, MISSOURI AND NEBRASKA SOL DACW41-95-R-0016 DUE 050395 POC Contract Specialist Pam Stichweh (816) 426-7424 (Site Code DACW41) The work to be performed consists of seeking sources for two (2) Small Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contracts for the provision of recurring Hazardous and Toxic Waste (HTW) related services. The required services include: underground/aboveground storage tank testing/closure/replacement; excavation/removal/manifesting/transportation/disposal of hazardous wastes and contaminated materials; multi-media chemical sampling/sample management/analysis; demolition and debris removal; drilling/installation/sampling of groundwater wells; transformer removal/disposal; environmental property audits; geotechnical drilling/sampling; installation of temporary facilities and site restoration; surveys/mapping/drafting/engineering drawing; and preparation of site specific safety and health plans. The contractor will be required to furnish all plant, labor, materials, and equipment necessary to provide timely, cost effective, high quality HTW-related services in the states of Kansas, Missouri, Iowa and Nebraska. The base period of performance is 2 years, with a three year option renewable at the government's discretion. The total potential contract value over the life of the contract is $2,500,000. The maximum amount that can be expended on any single delivery order is $250,000. Costs will be individually negotiated and established for each delivery order. These contracts are set aside for competition among certified small businesses. For informational purposes the small business size for this solicitation is 500 employees, the Standard Industrial Classification Code (SIC) is 8744. Requests for Proposal will be issued on or about 3 April 1995. Proposals will be due on or about 3 May 1995. Estimated cost of proposed procurement: Between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000.
