MacDill AFB intends to extend the current contracts under which Aumann, Inc. provides grounds maintenance services for the base and the Unified Commands located within the base. The contractor furnishes all labor, transportation, supervision, equipment, and materials necessary to maintain approximately 2,044 acres of improved, semi-improved, and unimproved grounds which includes 97 miles of edging and 37 miles of trimming. Contractor provides landscape projects, pruning of large and small trees and shrubs, eradication of nuisance plants, and removal of debris. The proposed sole source modifications will extend the subject contracts for a period of six months in order to provide continuity of services during completion of the solicitation process now in progress. The contracts were awarded as a result of small business set aside competitive procurement. The appropriate sic code is 0782. (072)
