Downdraft Paint Curing Booth. This booth will be utilized in the refinishing of vehicles at Luke AFB AZ. This booth will meet the following requirements: Primary dry floor filtration to remove approximately 96% of overspray created during painting; secondary dry filtration to remove an additional 3% of overspray; Green Charcoal extractor unit to remove all VOC and other polluting fumes prior to exhaust; high efficiency insulated panels to conserve utilities and to reduce CO and CO2 emissions; integrated lighting control to automatically shut off the booth lighting during baking, full grated floor with center downdraft pit to collect 100% of the overspary; equipped with an indirect fired heat exchanger that exhausts all combustion byproducts; downdraft design combined with high efficiency pre-filtration to reduce paint volume requirements and to minimize dirt in the paint; use of four 5hp turbodraft fans to move more air through the booth at a lower db level; integrated maintenance hour meter to provide proper timing of maintenance to prevent overuse of filtration systems; and recirculation heated bake cycle to reduce utilities and combustion byproducts.
