The purpose of the proposed acquisition is for the provision of engineering and technical services in connection with maintenance, repair, calibration, upgrading, and otherwise support the operation of a Hughes Aircraft Measurement Radar. The proposed Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity, Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee, Completion type contract will have a base period of performance of two years, plus three, one year option periods. The proposed contractor is Hughes Aerospace Company, Aerospace and Defense Sector, 2000 East Imperial Highway, El Segundo, CA. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued on or about 30 April 1995, with receipt of proposals due 30 days thereafter. See Note 22. (0073)
