First articles, quantity: 2 BT (estimated); Periodics, quantity: 13 BT (estimated); Basic quantity: 160 BT (estimated). Certification of Compliance to ASTM-D-2492: quantity 1 LOT. Testing per ASTM-D-2492, quantity: 1 LOT. Period of performance will be from date of award to one year thereafter. A one year option may be included. Inspection at origin acceptance at destination. FOB Destination: Keyport, WA. The Government requires that offerors have a DCMAO approved MIL-I-45208 Inspection System per Clause E8 in place at the time of award. Although discussions and negotiations are anticipated after RFP closing, contract award may be made on initial offers. MIL-I-45208 IS MANDATORY PREREQUISITE FOR CONTRACT AWARD, AND IT IS THE CONTRACTOR'S ABSOLUTE RESPONSIBILITY TO POSESS SUCH AN APPROVED SYSTEM AT THE TIME WHEN AWARD IS MADE AFTER CLOSING.
