14 -- SIDEWINDER, ROCKET MOTOR, MK36 MOD 11 AND 12, INERT ROCKET MK57 MOD 3 POC Contact, Sandra Frazier, Phone (703)604-2119 The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends, in the near future to issue a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the purchase of the Sidewinder Rocket Motor, MK 36 MOD 11, MK 36 MOD 12, Inert Rocket Motor MK 57 MOD 3, Continues and Associated Technical Data. This procurement is for a total of approximately 1,600 Rocket Motors with a one year option period. Firms interested in receiving the RFP must possess at least a CONFIDENTIAL Security Clearance. Requests to receive the RFP should be mailed to the address listed above. Firms interested in participating should submit a Qualification Statement not exceeding ten (10) pages, which discusses their experiences in producing the same or similar items. This Request for Information (RFI) is not a contract a promise to contract or a commitment of any kind. The Government will not assume any liability for costs incurred for data preparation.
