The Department of Defense Dependent Schools (DoDDS) intends to negotiate a contract, on a sole course basis with DARE America, for training of the DARE program. DoDDS requires the delivery of the Drug Abuse Resistance Education (DARE) elementary and middle school instructor certification programs to military and DoDDS personnel. The ultimate purpose of this program is to provide military police and DoDDS faculty and staff with up-to-date, research based information which will enable the implementation of school based drug abuse prevention in accordance with the established DARE curriculum.
