(916) 643-5312. This is a Notice of Intent for the Television-Audio
Support Activity to place a delivery order against GSA schedule
contract GS00K945GS0530 with AT&T for the following: thirty-two (32)
each Conferencing System Video; telemedia connection; with 486 PC,
15-in monitor, video camera, ISDN interface card, speaker phone and
keyboard; cif 240 (NTSC Camera) 352 X 240 Pixels; color resolution:
65,536 colors; software contrast, brightness control and color
controls; ISO-JPEG still frame capture/compression; CCITT G.728
compressed audio support (16KB;S); full duplex speaker phone; stereo
line inputs: 20HZ-20KHZ, RCA connector; NTSC color camera 1.3-IN CCD
Element, 75 OHM 1V P-P signal; lens: F2.0 4.5MM focal length, auto
shutter speed and white balance; camera power supplied by 3336 board;
platform PC: PC at bus architecture (ISA BUS); 8MB Ram, three 16-Bit
expansion slots; standard VGA graphics 640 X 480; includes MS-DOS 6.0
operating software and windows 3.1; safety certification: UL, CSA, VDE,
IEC380: to include 1 each power supply (MSP-1), pwr rqmts: 120 VAC, 60
HZ in 48 VDC out at 0.4 AMP. AT&T P/N 3840-902P. This acquisition is
being conducted under the regulatory delegation of GSA's exclusive
procurement authority for FIP resources. Interested parties are invited
to identify their interest and capability to satisfy this requirement.
Responses should be submitted within fifteen (15) days after the date
of publication of this notice and should contain price quotations and
convincing documentation (technical literature, etc.) indicating that
it is advantageous to the government, price and other factors
considered to consider sources other than the GSA FIP schedule contract
identified above. Interested parties must demonstrate, through
literature and technical data, that their equipment is interoperable
with existing AT&T's desktop video teleconferencing units and must be
capable of communicating with DCTN. Furthermore, the equipment must be
compatible to the existing communication circuits for AT&T's model
902P & 906. A request for a solicitation document will not be
considered an affirmative response to this notice. All affirmative
written responses will be fully considered. If, as a result of
analyzing responses to this synopsis of intent, the contracting officer
determines that a solicitation will be issued, no additional synopsis
will be published. Any such solicitation will be issued to the intended
schedule vendor and all firms that respond to this synopsis of intent.
If no affirmative written responses are received within the fifteen
(15) day period, an order will be placed with AT&T on their GSA FIP
schedule contract GS00K95AGS0530 for the items. Interested firms may
request the solicitation document but such requests will not be
considered an affirmative response with regard to the Government's
determination to procure under a GSA FIP schedule. Facsimile number is
