The 45th Space Wing intends to acquire Ram-air gliding parachute assemblies (49 each), which shall consist of the following components: (1) Canopies (spanwise construction), (2) Risers, (3) Connector Links, (4) Main Ripcords, (5) Main Pilot Chutes, (6) Reserve Ripcords (7) Reserve Pilot Chutes, (8) Main Deployment Bag (9) Reserve Deployment Bag, (10) Harness and Container, (11) Three Ring Release, and (12) Canopy Release Reserve Static Line. The parachute must have at least 375 square feet of lifting surface for greatest load capacity (400 pounds). Gliding ratio must be 3.4 to 1.
