The work includes the removal of damaged concrete and reinforcing from the underdeck framing, piling, and curbs on the side of the pier. Repairs will use shotcrete, polymer modified mortar and concrete. Also included is the repair of reinforcing steel and all incidental related work. Access to the underdeck side of pier is restricted by tidal fluctuations and mechanical piping. The requirement is estimate between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. A Firm Fixed Price contract is anticipated. Bids will be solicited for the proposed contract on an unrestricted basis as to the business size. The contract duration is 280 calendar days after receipt of contract award. All responsible sources may submit a bid.
